Who can apply for the internship?
Bona fide students from any course and faculty under the ADMU SOSE and students from the BS in ME course and faculty from the Department of QMIT under the ADMU JGSOM may apply. He or she must be:
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in his or her final two years;
Currently enrolled as a student in a master's degree program;
A faculty member currently affiliated with the aforementioned departments in SOSE and JGSOM; or
An alumnus or alumna who is interested to apply for graduate programs in Japan, especially in NAIST.
When will the results be released?
Results will be released in November 2024.
How many interns will be accepted?
Four to eight interns will be accepted.
What if multiple applicants are interested in the same lab?
Successful applicants will be assigned to one of their chosen labs. If the lab you selected is not able to accommodate you, you will be assigned to the one nearest to your field of interest. It is recommended that you choose the labs that match your current research interests or can provide the technical skills you wish to acquire.
What costs are covered?
The round trip plane fare (Manila to Osaka and back), transportation to and from the airport, and accommodations during the internship period are covered.
What do I do once accepted?
You may send an email to your host professor to introduce yourself and discuss the topics you will be working on during your internship.
